SEPTIC SYSTEM INSTALLATIONS
It is necessary if your home is not connected to the main sewer. If you’re building a new property, or have bought a place which needs a new septic system fitting, we can provide a full end to end service.
There are many different options when it comes to septic systems, with different pump types, tank designs, and sizes. This can be a little confusing at first – but with years in the business, we will be happy to talk you through the different systems which could suit your home and budget. Get in touch to start the process off, today.
How to choose a septic system
Our expert team can help you choose the right septic system for your home or business property. You’ll have a few choices to make – but the good news is that there are different systems to suit every property and every budget. We will talk you through choosing a centrifugal or turbine pump, and the right design based on the soil type in your area.
We will also take into account the number of people living in your home, or the number of people likely to be passing through if you’re installing into a commercial property, as this will help us recommend a size.
How much disruption will be caused when installing a septic tank?
We will work with you to minimize disruption throughout for the new installation in your property. This includes using the best possible equipment to get the work done efficiently, and minimize ground disturbance and also having all parts and machinery needed well in advance.
We will tell you during the planning stage, how long the installation is likely to last – in most cases this is around 3 – 4 days, with only short periods of needing to switch off the water supply. Give us a call if you need help!
Can I install my own septic system?
We do not advise attempting to install your own septic system. It is complex, and even small errors in the installation can cause knock-on problems for the plumbing system in your home. You also need the right equipment, which is typically not available to homeowners, and a good knowledge of the process.
In short, trying to save money by installing a system or tank yourself is likely to be a false economy, and can cause problems down the line which are disruptive and expensive to repair.
